
NEW MEMBERS are encouraged to join the Ponca City YMCA with the facility offering a “March to the Y” membership special. New members can join the Y in March and only pay a $10 joiner fee and pay no membership dues until April. Also, current members will receive free day passes for their friends and family to join them for a day of fun at the Y.

“Now is a great time to join and enjoy the many benefits,” says Chief Executive Officer Casey Doty. “ The Y is more than just a gym. It’s also a great place to spend quality time with friends and family.”
Membership benefits include drop-in child care during workouts, free youth sports, state of the art fitness equipment, aquatic/fitness classes, indoor walking track, racquetball courts, swimming in the family pool or lap pool, a climbing wall, after school and summer child care programs.
One of the many benefits of joining the YMCA is child watch at the Y Kid Zone. The Kid Zone is a place for children to learn, create and have fun, while parents enjoy their kid free workout time. Child watch is free with Family and Single Parent Memberships and $2 per hour for all other members and guests.
Also, the Easter Bunny is on the way to the Y. The Y Easter Egg Hunt will be held March 24 at 11 a.m. for children ages 2 and older. The Easter Egg Hunt is a community event and open to everyone. After the hunt participants and their families can use the Y for free.
Looking for a fun and safe activity for your children during spring break? The Y will host its Spring Break Camp March 16 to 23 from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for students ages 5 and older. Activities will include swimming, rock climbing, organized games and healthy snacks. Pre-registration info is available at the Front Desk.
Registration for YMCA After School Child Care Program is underway for students ages 4 and older. The after school program is held Monday through Friday until 6 p.m. Activities include arts / crafts, healthy snacks, gym games and teamwork activities. Pre-registration information packets are available at the YMCA Front Desk.
Introduction to Youth Karate classes will start Saturday March 10 for students ages 8-11. The beginner level class will be held from 9-9:45 a.m. at Program Studio B. Instructor Bill Mays will lead the class with focus on the basic form and fundamentals of the sport of Karate. The class is only $10 per month. The Y has many benefits for older adults, including group fitness and aquatic classes, warm water family pool with zero depth entry, indoor walking track, machine weights, cardio equipment and a great place to hang out with friends.
