Anna Lynn Durr, 92, resident of Ponca City, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Via Christi Nursing Home.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 16, with the Rev. Carson Krittenbrink officiating. St. Francis Xavier choir of Stillwater, will be providing the music for the liturgy. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery. A family visitation will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 15, at Trout Funeral Home and Crematory.
Anna Lynn was born on May 12, 1926, in Stillwater. She graduated from Stillwater High School and attended college at Oklahoma State University. She was a wonderful mother, wife and friend. She was an accomplished vocalist and served as cantor and choir director at St. Mary’s for many years.
Survivors include her daughters, Saundra and Margaret Durr and many kind and loving friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert M. Durr; her parents, Tilman and Lucille Bocock, formerly of Stillwater and brother, Alman Bocock, formerly of Monte Vista, Colo.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 707 East Ponca Avenue, Ponca City, OK 74601. The family wishes to thank Via Christi and Hospice of North Central Oklahoma for their kindness.
