Patricia Marie Grove, of Blackwell, died Saturday, July 14, 2018, at her home at the age of 82 years.
Patricia was born on Dec. 5, 1935, in Blackwell the daughter of Carl Willard and Flossie Marie Layton Noel. She grew up in Blackwell and graduated from Blackwell High School in 1954. She married Marlyn Victor Grove on June 2, 1956, in Kansas and they made Blackwell their home. She worked for Bill’s Dollar Store before working as the bookkeeper for the Blackwell Coop for many years. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and enjoyed creating head tags, plastic canvas sewing and working on her computer.
She is survived by two sons, Tim Grove, of Blackwell and Mike Grove, of Perry; two daughters, Marleda Humble-Golay and Carla Schatz, both of Blackwell; a step-daughter, Rose Hedger, of Wisconsin; 14 grandchildren, Melissa Cline, Regina Juliano, Nicholas Grove, Heather Humble, Robert Grove, Bryce Grove, Craig Humble, Erik Grove, Erin Tuck, Jared Raper, Emily Svacina, Josh Grove, Christopher Grove and Jayna Grove; 13 great-grandchildren, Tyson Humble, Kaylee Baughman, Breanna Smith, Colton Varner, Courtney Grove, B. J. Cline, Trinity Raper, Jaden Raper, Sydney Juliano, Emily Grove, Jacob Juliano, Kaylee Grove and Connor Grove; and four great-great-grandchildren, Haiden Spence, Peyton Fox, Liam Baughman and Aubree Varner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband and a brother, Richard Massey.
A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m., Friday, July 20 at Roberts and Son Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Sweetman, chaplain of Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, officiating.
