Cory Ray Hoskins
Cory Ray Hoskins, 37, of Arlington, TX died on Thursday, July 26, 2018.
Cory was born in Ponca City to Charles Ray, Jr. & Kathryn Vey Parsons Hoskins on May 10, 1981.
Cory is survived by his girlfriend of nearly three years, Cathy Ann Warren; his mother and stepfather, Kathryn & David Helmke; his stepmother, Patricia “Patty” Hoskins; his brother, sister-in-law and niece, Casey, Gloria, and Rebekah Hoskins; his two brothers, Taylor Helmke and Joshua Hoskins; and many other loving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Since 2007, Cory worked as a technician with Walker Engineering—installing the integral electrical components at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Perot Museum of Science and Nature, Scottish Rite Hospital, and Huguley Hospital, among others. When not working, Cory found pleasure in freehand drawing, watching movies, and carving out time to repair his (and his friends’) vehicles.
Cory lived a life of stubborn tenacity, raw-knuckle worth ethic, rarely showing emotions other than strength and the will to be a fighter. He loved his family & friends, with a realness and deepness that was palpable to all who knew Cory.
The Memorial Service in remembrance and celebration of Cory’s life will be in the Chapel of First Euless at 1000 W Airport Freeway, Euless, Texas 76039 at 10:30 a.m. Aug. 11th, with an onsite reception to follow.
Cory’s graveside burial service, officiated by Pastor Mickey Baldwin of Cornerstone Foursquare Okmulgee, will be held at Resthaven-Sunset Memorial Parks at 1901 E Hubbard Rd., at 2 p.m, Aug. 13.
