BUSINESSES CAN sponsor a hole for $100 during the benefit golf tournament on Sept. 29.
A golf tournament to benefit the Hart-Cowan Post 333 in Ralston will be held on Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Lew Wentz Golf Course beginning at 9 a.m. The entry fee of $100 per person includes an 18-hole four-man scramble, two mulligans per player, golf cart, longest drive ($100 cash prize), closest to pin ($100 cash prize) and additional door prizes.
A dinner and awards ceremony will be held immediately following at Ody’s Sports Bar at 3700 Lake Road. The menu will consist of catfish and smoked

Cash prizes for the tournament will be awarded for first, second and third places. There is also a 50/50 Pot (do not have to be present to win).
Businesses can also sponsor a hole for $100.

The American Legion has two fundraisers per year. Proceeds help support local veterans who struggle with buying food, medicine or paying bills.
