Roger W. Reese

Roger W. Reese

Roger W. Reese, born Aug. 26, 1935, in Tahlequah, Okla., to Rory and Marguerite Berry Reese. He passed away peacefully in his home of 46 years with his four children by his side on Dec. 15, 2018.

Roger grew up in Oklahoma and joined the Army after graduating Ponca City High School. He spent 18 months in Germany on tour. After leaving the Army, he moved to Washington. He had a few jobs within the area and moved to Tacoma, Wash. He worked for Gai’s Bakery for 30 years and retired, he then spent the following 20 years traveling in his RV with his current wife, Marge, and being actively involved with the local Eagles club.

Roger was one of eight children and is survived by older sister, Lavera Middlebusher, of Ponca City, Okla., and younger brother, Ben Reese, of Oregon. Roger’s wife of 30 plus years, Marge Reese, predeceased him in Nov., 2017. Roger leaves behind his four children, Jeri Kasal (Peter), Kim Nadon (Joe), Craig Reese (Susan), and Jana Drew; his four step-daughters Lori Buentemeier (Mike), Vicki Wood (Jim), Patti Doffing (James) and Tami French (Randy); ten grandchildren and two great-granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sister and two brothers.

Services are to be held at Tahoma National Cemetery on January 21.
